Position Title: Asset Manager
Reports To: VP, Business Development
General Accountabilities:
The Asset Manager provides business leadership for the day-to-day management of CSV Midstream’s existing portfolio of midstream assets (both operated and non-operated assets). Reporting to the VP, Business Development, the Asset Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with CSV Midstream’s customer base and for providing asset-level leadership and coordination to address business and technical issues. This role searches for and originates regional business opportunities related to the assets in order to maximize EBITDA performance. The Asset Manager will also provide analytical and contractual negotiation support for larger business development opportunities within CSV.
Key Accountabilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant include:
- Establishing constructive working relationships with the existing CSV customer base and with potential additional customers;
- Leading regular asset update meetings and/or chairing Joint Venture meetings with customers to identify and resolve technical, operational and business issues;
- Leading the budgeting process for each asset;
- Identifying, promoting and contracting new value-enhancing business opportunities for each asset;
- Providing leadership to internal technical, operations and commercial activities at the asset level;
- Preparing economic analyses, proposals, conducting contract negotiations, interpreting and advising on contract terms, and conducting regional market analyses; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce or related field;
- Minimum 10-15 years related experience in a midstream or oil and gas producing operating company; and
- Demonstrated commercial and leadership skills.

Position Title: Communications Consultant
Reports To: HR Manager
Location: Calgary, AB
Note: This is a contract position; approx. 3 days per week
General Accountabilities:
The Communications Consultant will drive the communications strategy while supporting a variety of internal stakeholders to execute on the internal & external communication needs of the organization. This role will also own the CSV brand, driving consistency across the organization.
Key Accountabilities:
The Communications Consultant will be accountable for the following:
- Assist the organization in developing a comprehensive communications strategy which hones messaging for the ‘Creating Shared Value’ story and anchors key messages
- Be the CSV brand owner! Own the brand guidelines and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure internal / external material (marketing material, templates, merchandise etc.) have a consistent CSV brand
- Work closely with the Director, Community Shared Value to support the strategy and develop promotional material used during community engagement activities (video’s, pamphlets etc.,)
- Manage social media platforms and create content (LinkedIn, etc.,)
- Manage CSV’s website
- Assist internal stakeholders with creating & editing internal communications
- Support the executive team in the development of external communications (press releases etc.)
- Support the ESG committee in writing the ESG report and pulling together supplementary material to support the communication of the report
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience requirements:
The successful candidate will have a degree / diploma in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years’ related communications experience.
In addition, the successful candidate will:
- Use creativity and innovation to approach projects and solve problems
- Be both accountable and collaborative
- Be resourceful, cost effective and have the ability to draw on other specialists as needed
- Strong verbal & written communication skills

Position Title: IT Support Specialist
Reports To: IT Manager
Location: Calgary, AB
General Accountabilities:
In addition to acting as the first point of contact for queries or technical issues for our CSV employees, the IT Support Specialist will assist the IT Manager in diagnosing hardware and software faults, and resolving technical and application problems.
Key Accountabilities:
The IT Support Specialist will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- provide IT support to ensure computer systems are running smoothly and supporting the productivity of CSV employees, either face-to-face or over video or voice calls
- pay attention to employees’ descriptions of computer problems and ask questions to properly diagnose them
- talk employees / contractors through the actions required to set up systems or resolve issues
- follow up with employees to ensure issues are resolved
- install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults; replace parts as required
- locate and follow manufacturer/expert instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
- actively update, maintain, monitor and report on all aspects of computer networks
- test, evaluate and support the roll-out of new technology
- assist the onboarding process by setting up new users' accounts and profiles, dealing with password issues and setting up peripherals such as printers or routers
- assist with the off boarding of employees and contactors
- create/produce documentation and relevant reports for changes, revisions and problems
- train employees with respect to hardware/software usage and best practices
- other duties as assigned
Education and Experience requirements:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of applicable experience. Relevant educational experience is considered an asset.
In addition, the successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate a commitment to timely responses and see tasks through to completion
- Possess time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines
- Be able to prioritise and manage many tasks at one time
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot and implement practical solutions
- Be a team player who can communicate effectively and build strong relationships
- Have a proven ability to work with minimal supervision
- Keep up with new developments in the IT industry
- Have extensive experience working with the following operating systems/platforms: Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, Android, VMware, HyperV, AWS, Azure, SharePoint
- Demonstrate a solid knowledge of networking principles
- Possess a strong knowledge of cyber security principles and practices
- Although not normally required, be willing to travel to remote sites to provide support
- Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies are an asset
