Daniel Clarke

Daniel Clarke

President and Chief Executive Officer

Daniel Clarke is a Professional Engineer with 20 years of experience in engineering design and executive management, and holds a Certificate of Strategic Management (Harvard). He has a proven track record of entrepreneurial leadership. Through a clear vision and strategic management of growth, he consistently delivered client satisfaction and value for all involved, while developing an unmatched internal culture and community. Through his many years in engineering, procurement and construction management, he sponsored and/or executed several successful projects ranging from smaller installations to contemplated projects in excess of $500 million. In his position, Daniel guided staff development and retention strategies that resulted in minimal turnover, while building an elite engineering services company, from concept to over 100 employees, in just over a decade.

Don Rawson

Don Rawson

Chief Financial Officer

Don Rawson, with a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA, brings 24 years of broad financial experience and relationships, with a background of corporate and capital market roles at investment dealers in Calgary and Toronto. Most recently, he was one of the founding Managing Directors in equity research at a boutique investment dealer focused on energy, agribusiness and energy infrastructure/industrials. He has more than 10 years’ experience in investment research, following junior and mid-cap exploration and production companies operating in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. In 2011, he was recognized by Starmine as one of the top Canadian analysts for earnings estimators, ranking first in the Oil & Gas industry and third among all industries.

Don has also held several corporate development and planning roles, acting as a consultant in a takeover defense that led to an asset sale and conversion to an Income Trust, and in senior roles for large cap companies in corporate development and planning. He previously worked in Investment Banking and also held roles in treasury for a publically-traded gold mining company.

Trent Cherry

Trent Cherry

VP of Operations

Trent Cherry, a Professional Engineer, has over 18 years’ experience ranging from major exploration and production to facilities engineering. He has expertise in operations asset management, operating expenditure planning, budget cycles, and execution of strategic and long-term planning.

He has developed long-range business plans with alternative investment strategies for assets with more than 1,200 associated employees, and an operating annual capital budget of $1.2 billion and net operating costs of $0.9 billion. He has also successfully managed the producing asset with annual operating costs of $150 million. Trent is a proven leader of innovation teams, delivering cost reductions and optimized infrastructure. His experience also includes conducting strategic planning and evaluations on major resource play developments in northwest Alberta and northeast BC.

Curtis Connett

Curtis Connett

Chief Information Officer

With more than 17 years in the industry, ranging from engineering service providers to manufacturing operations, Curtis will be responsible for CSV MIDSTREAM’S Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS). He will play a key role in executive functions such as IS development, business strategy, and process/design leadership, including branding and interdepartmental communication. He will also oversee online and social media strategy as a significant area of development for community engagement and relations.
